Hayama beef is extremely rare even in the category of black beef, which itself is called the illusive beef, and is the best of the best that can only be sourced because it is produced locally.

We are particularly proud of our sumptuous secret broth that makes the most of kelp and bonito flakes.

The side dishes made with local, seasonal ingredients such as Kamakura vegetables provide a colourful complement to the main dish of Hayama beef.

The sake that is offered at Sasho is bottled with a special production method refined by the brewery and is carefully stored so that it does not contact air or light until the moment it is poured into the glass.

You can full enjoy the just-made freshness of sake, which can usually only be experienced at a brewery.

One of our offerings is particularly well-received: a pairing menu that features carefully selected, fresh sake with each course.
